Rudy Gobert needs some credit for how he played out of the pick n roll. He and Mike Conley essentially closed the game out running PnR and he was making the right pass out of the short roll a couple times. He's usually awful to watch play offense but he can make some passes that make you wonder how it goes so poorly most of the other times.

And he's making his free throws. If he's making those and able to switch onto the perimeter and hold his own, you aren't going to be able to play him off the court this year

KD looks like a shell of himself as if his best postseason days are past him.

I think at 35 years old he's at a similar position as LeBron is at age 39..they both are still capable of having great postseason performances but the opposing competition is too much for them to overcome no matter how great they play it's just simply not good enough.

Basically, they can't takeover the game and singlehandedly dominate against stiff competition like they were once able to do in their younger days.

Rudy doesn't have to cover absolutely everyone defensively anymore like with the Jazz and he can switch onto the perimeter and they don't get abused in the paint cause they have defenders to rotate.

I was completely wrong about that trade, it transformed the Wolves
