I never heard of a player tearing his acl from the bench.

Sent from a Super Samsung 3 via Master Roshi's Island.
Obviously the more you drive car, the higher is the probability that you will crash during your lifetime. So if you crash after Super Bowl 19 years from now, do you think someone will say well you should've walked that day.

It's essentially like stumbling on your shoelaces and telling cats to rest, cause you've never heard anyone tripping over their shoelaces from the bench.

If I got it right, the injury comes from reacting in an unnatural way. Doesn't matter if you've been on vacation or if you've played 150 games in 150 days.

I get it the analogy. It's like the more you post on the coli, the more likely you can get negged and the only way to prevent it, is by not logging on. Maybe you shouldn't have logged on today breh.

I couldn't find a more basic analogy, to match the "basicness" of your initial post. I figured you might've been a kid who wouldn't understand anything else.

It's not even an analogy tbh, if someone trips on his own feet, your medicine of benching them instead would prevent him from tripping on his own feet.

Use your fukking brain, how is a coach supposed to know exactly which of the 82 games in which a player is going to react in an unnatural way since the injury is equiprobable over the season.
