Tilda Swinton in Talks to Join Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'

Remember how many Dr' Strange's we had before Cumberbatch was the one? This is the third Ancient One. They were looking at Morgan Freeman and Ken Watanabe previously. Wake me up when they actually cast someone.

Well, around Iron Man 3 they talked about how much of an outdated stereotype the Mandarin is so they weren't gonna touch that. I don't think that's the strongest logic because they easily could've updated him but that's the reason they gave.

I never bought that "The Mandarin is racist!" stuff. Sure he was a sterotype when he was first created but he got updated over the years into a cool, complex super-villain.
But Marvel Studios being Marvel Studios I am sure they will either remove Dr. Strange's "man servant" Wong completely from the movie or just make him a white dude name Wayne because they are scared shytless of even the perception of racial insensitivity being an issue when it comes to marketing their films to Asia.

i fuks with tilda ...you'd think marvel would wanna keep him asian tho because of the huge market over there tho so that is kind of weird

oh and i heard death gonna show up in this movie too
