I just saw his latest shyt on youtube for FCW

idk man I fukk with the whole johnny cash swag mixed up with a lil Walyon Mercy but am I trippin? I thought his walk-out with the promo dragged on wayyyyyyyy too fukking long for my liking (like a Tupac outro and shyt)

That was my only gripe, nice promo + entrance + in-ring work but fukkKKKKKKKKKK wrap it up a bit bruh......

They also did this to Kenzo Suzuki way back when. His own wife cockblocked his monster Hirohito push before he even debuted.

In 2004, on WWE Raw, a video aired just before the main event of the show. It detailed the involvement of Japan in World War II, culminating in the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The promo then said that a man was coming to WWE Raw to take revenge on the US for not only the bombing, but for the entire war and all the lives lost. The video ended with a man saying "Mark the return of Hirohito", and the word "Hirohito" being splattered on the screen in blood. The video was never mentioned or heard from again, the entire Hirohito gimmick was dropped, and the wrestler who was going to play him (Japanese star Kenzo Suzuki) ended up on Smackdown, using his real name.

Of course, the reason the Hirohito gimmick was dropped is because someone thought- and I know this sounds crazy- that some people might be kind of offended by having a guy running around pretending to be Hirohito - Emperor of Japan during World War II - might offend some people and/or be irrelevant in 2004 (particularly since the actual Hirohito had died 15 years earlier).

It was Hiroko, Kenzo Suzuki's wife who apparently clued in creative that that Japan's not all that "seething with rage about WWII" and the man who came up with such crap (along with Mordecai) was canned.

That would have been fukking hilarious, I can see why they dropped it though

It's like the Kyo Dai idea (Akio and Sakoda) was nixed by Tajiri because he was fukking terrified the real Yakuza would see it as an insult and kill him

It's a shame these promos are being wasted on NXT. These would be great vignettes to reintroduce Husky to the main roster.
