Not a fan of hers (other than The Carmichael Show) but I also don't understand why people are up in arms. She's a comedian, she supposed to say shyt like this, her stories are supposed to be spicy and somewhat anecdotal. The light bulb just went off as to why it's so hard for a black female comedian. When Katt or Chappelle tells these types of stories it's funny for some reason. We're talking about her being blackballed and people not wanting to fukk with her on some SERIOUS shyt. Male comedians have the liberty to jokingly say "I hope I don't run into somebody I made jokes about" and we even find THAT funny.
I'm not saying who's right or wrong, hell I'm just as guilty as the next man of promoting the double standard here. Just saying I finally see it in real time.
