Which is a topic I be wanting to discuss how long we keep holding on to JA?? He’s barely on the field now. I see us drafting in the future. We hit good recently hopefully it keep going.
We have to draft CBs. Stokes is useless and Valentine isn’t a number one guy.

Jaire is still excellent it’s just he can’t stay healthy. It’s ridiculous at this point. Keep him but don’t rely on him.

The Lions are a legit contender for sure, proved it. However just like last year, Dan doesn't know when to stop being over-aggressive. Although the Packers showed they are not invincible, and a team like the Eagles as well can beat them at home because if Green Bay can find way so can they.

It's because of that though in close games where Dan just needs for once to just play it safe... and that's just the NFC...

Lions need to get as healthy as they can because I am concerned about them against the Eagles in the NFC Championship

Understandable but sad. If he’s out there a lot of sht doesn’t go down but you gotta ask yourself, how many more before we see the injuries take its toll?

Great CBs can play well into their 30s

Jaire is a great one. Maybe he has to change his offseason regimen or is in season regimen. No idea.

Dan Campbell is reckless as hell.

The going for it on 4th down every time nearly cost them. Shid like that in January may not work out.

With that said, the Packers aren’t beating the Lions unless they play a perfect game. The game at Lambeau shifted because Love threw a stupid pick six.

It explains why Love only threw it 20 times. He’s been a turnover machine until 3 weeks ago.

Also, Jayden Reed not being utilized tonight was wild.
It gives them more opportunities than it loses them. I don't understand how people don't get this. They like to point to the small sample size of it being unsuccessful as the reason why they won't succeed, instead of considering the larger majority of the time it does as a big reason why they have made such a huge transition into the upper echelon of teams in such a short time. It's asinine to me how people can't figure this out. But then again narratives run the zeitgeist of sports these days and people with extremely low actual x and O's knowledge make millions by arguing the most banal shyt and the goofball fans eat it up and parrot it like good Pollys so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

No matter, Lions keep winning :blessed:

Whole cares? You don't get it son

We are down are best interior defense lineman

We are down our two best pass rushers

We are down 4 of our 5 linebackers

And yet, we are still a 12-1 and just beat a team that was hot coming in

And we were down our starting LT

We are easily the most decimated team on defense in the league and Aaron Glenn and Dan Campbell are still making it happen

We simply overcome

We we we we we….your ass can’t run 5 yards go sit your ass down somewhere

I don’t fault him for being aggressive. It’s part of how he’s turned the franchise around and instilling belief.

But earlier they went for it on 4th at their own 30. Packers get the ball back on turnover on downs, then score 7 running on a short field.

You shouldnt do that in the postseason!!

Dunno how you can watch that game and come to that conclusion. Keeping the ball out of Love's hands was the most important factor to winning. Campbell literally won the game by being overly aggressive against an overly conservative coach. He gambled and went 3 of 4. That's a complete coaching victory.

It's not gonna be successful every time. But it'll never be successful when you don't attempt it. They're calculated risk, and scarce times when they don't work everyone wants to rush to say "SEE, I TOLD YOU" while totally ignoring the success rate. They won this game. People argue in the face of the evidence showing them they are completely wrong and wait until that one moment when they're right as the ringing endorsement of their assertions.

The Lions were 4/5 in 4th downs in this game, including the one that sealed the win, and all a bunch of y'all are talking bout is how crazy Dan is for making those calls. I think eventually fans will recalibrate themselves on how they react to those situations as more teams are following suit, but it will take time. The first one to do something out of the status quo is usually considered crazy until everybody catches up.

Don’t worry, I guarantee by this Sunday the Coli will go crazy when they see a coach be overly-conservative and play not to lose :russ:
