Bump.

You still think the Thunder can win without Roberson OP? His defense is what makes the Thunder's defense elite. Without him, idk how they will be able to guard the Timberwolves, Rockets, or Warriors wings in the playoffs with just PG alone. Even if they do a trade, no one they get can come close to replacing Roberson's elite defense.

However, if they got someone like Courtney Lee or a 3&D guy with a long wingspan, then they will have a more balanced lineup offensively at the cost of less defense. If they continue to play good team defense and whoever they get in a trade is a solid help defender that can help Adams and PG, then they might have a chance maybe.

I'm banking on, especially since I made a prediction at the start of the season, that they're going to get T-Ferg experienced and ready just in time for the times. He's already a good defender and the more he gets comfortable in that role, the Thunder have little to be concern.

i wasnt high on ferg early but i do see the potential now... idk about him being ready by the playoffs though. his biggest issue is strength. he's just too frail right now and that will only be fixed by putting in work in off seasons.

I agree that he's slim... he's still 19. But he has the speed and the hustle to cover and defend. Him starting now instead of late in March or early April helps to get prepped. Especially when facing the Warriors and Rockets again. It's basically why they drafted him to begin with.

That all said, I dunno if they can find a GREAT defender through trade. If Presti finds someone best believe he will make his move even if it means trading Ferguson.

this possibly makes a potential with gs a 6 game series instead of a 5 game series.
shyt, I’m in then :wow:

They need to be scrapping hard to get that 3rd seed spot. Try to get past the Wolves and San Antonio while Kawhi is gone, I think they’re like 3 games behind

Clips GM is former assistant GM for Presti in OKC .. maybe he will hookOkc up

“Sources say the Thunder have expressed interest in Bradley, who was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers Monday by the Pistons in the blockbuster deal that sent Blake Griffin to Detroit. Ever since that deal took place, there have been rumblings that the Clippers were considering moving on from the 27-year-old guard, who is in the final year of his contract and doesn’t seem likely to fit into their long-term plans.”
