Los Ingobernables de Sala de Cine
Don't know what you're crying about. First of all, I've barely watched any WWE in months, in fact, NXT UK Takeover might be the last time I watched anything WWE that wasn't a clip or a gif posted on TSC and that was only out of curiosity. I haven't even bothered to check out Asuka vs Becky and that's literally the one singles match I was waiting for since Asuka's main roster debut! That's how tired I am of the product and the company. You see it
Shut the fukk up. Just because its nothing to you cac doesnt mean it applies to the rest of us. Ratings low as ever people aint watching that trash.
Second, my point is not even about how I feel (and for the record, much like the Lars exposal this shyt does bother me), it's about what you see here on TSC and in every form of media really. These wrestlers are playing roles, and for better or for worse to a lot of people, seeing them play that role makes them not care about who they are in real life. Only when people can no longer separate the role from the person (or never cared for the role or person), will they truly take a stand.
And again, this is not just something you see in wrestling. How long did people not give a damn about all the R. Kelly shyt because they didn't care about what he did in his personal life as long as they could enjoy the music he made? After all, that's why they became fans of him in the first place, because of his music. But times changed and the situation got to a point where many could no longer separate the artist from his music.
So back to AJ Styles, it's easy for me to say 'fukk him' since I ain't watching anymore regardless, but I know most people will continue to watch the product because they care more for the product as a whole than they care for the individual people in it, and that will always be the reality. If anything, as you say, ratings are low as ever not because people are suddenly taking a stand against racism or other forms of shytty behavior by the company, ratings are low because the product they once enjoyed is pure trash.
