What did you think of Blackout & have you started Moving?
Blackout was dope as hell. I kinda pieced everything together before the reveals, but that never hurt the experience. I just wanted to see all the a-holes involved in the crimes get theirs.

My last couple binges were A Thousand Blows (not K-Drama, but fire nonetheless) and Gangnam B Side which was good but the MC's decision-making kept frustrating me. I'm due to start some new ish, so Moving is coming up on my watchlist.

Currently watching these two:
1.

Song of the Bandits has some elite action choreography, and a pretty dope "rebels vs the empire" kind of story behind it.

2.

Finally started Moving, and I'm 7 episodes in now. The action sequences are great, though some of the detours kinda dragged (really just the Bus Driver's backstory tbh). The HS bits are okay, but once we get to the assassin fighting the first OG, that's basically what I'm waiting for every episode. I'm hella curious to see how the youths are gonna power up to get more involved in the story.

I watched A Killer Paradox early last month (after being recommended in this thread). It was solid - 8/10.

I just finished watching Study Group. I give it an 8.5/10. The main character of Study Group (Ga-min) is basically Korean Superman with a splash of Bruce Lee lol. Anyway, I want them to make a season 2 right now!

I just watched Night Has Come (2023). I really liked it.

The ending "reveal" was kind of meh, but overall, the show was good. I watched Study Group before starting Night Has Come, and it literally has some Study Group actors in it. The Study Group actors play similar roles in this show; there was some deja vu, lol.

Anyway, a synopsis of the show is "a group of high school students is forced to play a deadly real-life game of Mafia at a retreat center".

Basically, they get stuck at a rec center, and some supernatural stuff happens. The Mafia game app pops up on their phone, and they are forced to play the game. They are randomly assigned different ranks (Citizen, Mafia, Police, Doctor). All of the non-Mafia students are on the same team and have to find out who the Mafia students are. At the end of the day, before midnight, they have to vote out the student they think is a Mafia member. The person they vote for will die (the game will force that person to commit suicide once voting is over). Meanwhile, Mafia students can kill non-Mafia students while they are sleeping. The ending was a twist/surprise for sure. I feel meh about it, like I said earlier.

On a random note, there are some cute actresses in the show :shaq:

Sounds a lot like Jinrou Game except it's Citizens/Villagers vs Wolves. Gonna check it out as the Japanese movies were either confusing or straight up ass.

I checked out Revelations, hoping it'd cover my horror fix. But it's a straight thriller and I'd rate it as just okay. It wasn't a bad watch, but nothing I'm rushing to recommend. There's a pretty cool theme running through it, at least.
