@Monsanto I think I got one. Came out yesterday on netflix, out of nowhere. Saw the lead Okada from Fable and thought I'd give it a shot. 8/10 Long movie but I didn't get bored and it kinda took me back to John Woo's heroic bloodshed movies had all the themes but with weaker gunplay.

Enjoyed this movie, although everyone being an undercover left a bitter taste to be fair

I’m looking to watch Fable next.

I watched Takeshi Miike's First Love on Amazon Prime (actually Freevee with ads) a few days ago trying to look for that. A boxer and a call girl get entangled in a fued between the Yakuza and Chinese Triad. While I enjoyed it, it's leaning on the dark comedy side and it's all over the place by the end.

Giri/Haji (Netflix), Tokyo Vice (HBO Max), and A Family (Netflix Movie) all has some of what you're looking for. I don't know if you seen them yet but if you haven't the Outrage movies might be what you're looking for. I've only seen the first two gonna check out Outrage Coda soon.

Watched Han Jong Jo and it pissed me off. Definitely don't watch this movie smh. There's a scene in here, which isn't the rape, that just baffled me. People are animals



I'm not watching silenced after watching the above movie.

Just read the synopses. Dam these joints sound heavy heavy. I can probably stomach the first one, but I don’t know about the second.

Trash sfx aside I'm liking this show. After an officer disappears from a village he's posted in, a cowboy cop is sent to replace him and he quickly starts to see that them folks on some Hill's Have Eyes shyt. Only three eps. out right now. I don't know why the Disney+ logo is on the cover because it's only on Hulu and it also has some themes and violence that are beyond family friendly.

So far I like it, creepy vibes and the lead is an interesting character. So far the only thing that bothers me is the cheap special effects.

You in NA? I have Disney and Hulu. Found it on Hulu and I remembered Disney+ announcing this as one of their titles so I checked the app but it's not on there.
