The close outs in the original post just shows that he doesn’t know how close he is to the player. None of the close outs looked reckless or that he was trying to injure the players.
He needs to be taught not to jump under players legs. He didn’t look like he was overextending his legs, he was just too close.

He plays like he's Igbo on offense. Smart and sticks to what works using his gifts. Yoruba on defense. Always doing some sucka fukk nikka shyt but effective at getting away with it.

There is very little he could do that would cause the media to turn on him or highlight these.
The flip side is that I don't necessarily think he is intentional in many of these but that in of itself doesn't matter if the outcome ended badly in any of these.

And you would have a point if all the Igbos in the NBA aren't from pedestrian to being bums. Ayo Dosunmu just got drafted and he's on pace to surpass every Igbo that has played in the NBA - all he needs is an all star nod in the next few years like all his fellow Yoruba and he'd be greater than any Igbo that has ever played in the NBA.

Topic: how's he a dirty player based on these dumb videos? The guy plays aggressively with an edge and things of this nature are bound to happen when you play as hard as he does, especially when you're that long and lack self-awareness from time to time. Admittedly, he needs better self-awareness when defending shooters and that's the only thing he needs to fix.
As for the Booker foul: it's a hard foul but that doesn't negate the fact that Chris Paul actually tried to kill him during the same series. Where's the thread about how dirty Chris Paul is? And the Mo Wagner foul wasn't something that came out of thin air - it was a reaction to what happened earlier.
I'll never understand why the guy gets so much hate. He has been the best player in the NBA for 2-3 years now but he's still criminally underrated despite not being as ball dominant as someone like say, Jokic/LeBron/Doncic, who tend to pad their stats a lot. Funny how everyone that played with him always bum out once they leave. Heck, this year Middleton has been trash and his bench spends most nights averaging less than 10 points and he's carrying them. Embid and Jokic actually have better supporting casts this year despite how depleted those teams are based on productivity and Giannis has been drifting from center, to PF, to PG all season whilst anchoring their defense.
