United States went H.A.M with "Willie Pete" in Fallujah killing THOUSANDS of women and children, but that wasnt an issue. But some shytty video posted by U.S. backed "Freedom Fighters," which may very well be a false flag OP, convinced you that Syria needs a regime change...

Source for the bold? I was in that city.

The use of WP was executed after the mandatory evacuation of the city, which the locals followed. There was definitely some civilian casualties as result of the artillery barrage, but can you show me where thousands of women and children died as a direct result of WP? Don't post a couple of pictures, show me a reputable source.

Assad's govt is a Secular one where it's Arab Nationalism which supports all religious groups. Assad's Family protected the Christians before when the Muslim Brotherhood attacked them in the 70's and are doing their best to protect them now.

So these countries (Libya, Egypt, Syria) need a strong, secular leader to ensure religious freedoms?

Why when the Muslim hardliners take over do they deny religious freedom and begin to kill these people?

It appears I was wrong on that account. My initial statement stemmed from this documentary: Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre | Watch Free Documentary Online

And this link as well: The Fog of War: White Phosphorus, Fallujah and Some Burning Questions

upon further review I can't find a source I deem credible that backs up the statement I made, therefore I was wrong. But the fact still remains if the U.S. can use WP in battle, why cant Syria. It just seems like we are always either bombing someone or overthrowing someone, often times under bullshyt circumstances.

Thank you for your service by the way. I don't agree with the majority of the moves our military makes, but you have my respect for putting your neck out.

Okay friend, I'm glad we cleared that up. By the way, I don't condone the US government using WP rounds. It's very dangerous, and while not a chemical weapon, it can be one if direct contact is made.

A lot of people that were burned from WP and had to deal with effects of it were our own Military.

I wish the people who made that decision would be tried and thrown in a prison.

So in other words the world is going to idly sit by while Syria gets blown to bacon bits, correct? I bet the U.S. is hoping Iran will jump in so they can get the two for one special

No one gives two fukks about Syria tbh, it's been going on for months already. It's arabs killing arabs so there's no "sympathy" fro either side in the Western world, and there's not enough "hate" towards Assad to justify intervention (unlike Kaddafi for example), they messed up playing with Turkey but if it wasn't for that no one cares about no damn Syrian civilians. If outside forces move in, it's like @manwhatthefukk said, to secure the chemical weapons when the regime falls and to avoid too much of a political vacuum in which all kinds of radicals would have a field day.

more than likely the troops are there to secure Syria's chemical weapon's when the regime falls.

This makes more sense than anything.

First off genius, stop acting as if the dude was primarily some slave trader like the white devils that tormented and killed black Africans for cash. Mansa Musa was a fukking KING and had a very large teritory in which he reigned. Being that he was alive during the 14th century, slavery was a rampant part of society ALL OVER THE WORLD. And it was far from the heinous practice that white racists practiced during the 18-19 centuries, but it was more akin to indentured servitude. Furthermore, as a king he donated untold MILLONS (Billions in today's dollars actually) to the many unfortunate people and communities that he traveled through on his various pilgrimages to Mecca. Furthermore he contributed to various communities on his travels buy errecting Mosques and other buildings as well. So despite the fact that he owned slaves (like all royalty in those days did mind you) he was far more benevolent and generous than most other royalty were. He became very famous and renowned for that reason as well.

Lastly, the 14th century was a very different time and place, where slavery was a part of everyday life. Thankfully we as a people have moved past that mode of thinking and generally frown upon the practice, but to reduce Mansa Musa to nothing more than a "wealthy slave trader" is extremely disingenuous at the least and highly ignorant at the worst.

So instead of trying to score points so you and you fellow troll 88 can dap each other, why don't you go and do some research on who Mansa Musa I of Mali was and how he grew to become to so well known in history. Trust me, there were far richer slave traders that no one gave two fukks about after they died.

Rawanda and Burundi, and Eastern Congo are some of the most fukked up places on Earth. Those people will never get along with each other!

It's the same thing in Israel/Palestine/Syria......what's your point?

Should America be intervening or not?

are your tax dollars the only tax dollars that fund this "bullshyt"?

The majority of the country is against as seen by many polls across the board. Stop trying to be contrary. No one wants a war with Syria in the US. End of story. This isn't call of duty breh.

I would think so but prejudice is prejudice especially in the Arab World where they just like Africa go by certain tribes/sects/groups on who they want to regulate the countries. Just think Syria was under control by France( FSA flag is the same as the old French Syria Flag) for 30 years...so the Ba'ath Party was introduced for Arab Nationalism.

Why when the Muslim hardliners take over do they deny religious freedom and begin to kill these people?

Hardliners are really different from those who want to take over Syria. Many of the Wahabbists Sects really don't practice Islam at all. It's a scapegoat for Supremacy over those who are the majority of the population. Same in context with Atheists running the "Jewish State" in Israel. Freedom isn't in Wahabbist Sects vocab so anything that represents the opposite of their view is completely wiped out.
