I've decided not to use the word "nikka" when referring to black people. There is no such thing as a nikka/****** in my mind and it seems shameful to adopt and try to positively utilize a word that was used to denigrate my ancestors. The men and women forced into slavery and brought over here in boats were NOT ******s/nikkas, they were human beings even though their oppressors claimed otherwise.
That being said, this black man and those who think like them are still mental slaves. They're stuck in a Eurocentric mindset, fully prepared to criticize blacks and assimilate to white culture. Anyone who analyzes the admittedly severe issues in the black community must also consider the reasons behind them. We are the descendants of a people whose heritage, culture, and humanity were stripped from them and yet we still persevered in spite of everything against us.
What we need above all else is self-respect. Historically we are not accustomed to it and our culture does not encourage it, confusing it with assimilation or destructive selfishness. But men and women like Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, MLK, and Harriet Tubman had it along with a clear vision and look at what they were able to accomplish.
We're swimming upstream against of a myriad of quandaries seeking to rob us of our dignity. Anyone who fails to acknowledge that is as foolish as drig dealers and murderers who destroy their own communities instead of trying to build. In fact, they're just two sides of the same coin: a reflection of men without a clear sense of self-worth.

What precedent? Black males get arrested for those murders and don't get bail. How is it the same? Zimmerman most likely never was going to get charged.

I'm not gonna get mad about this shyt anymore. There will always be people saying dumb shyt about this case for as long as we all live. No point getting worked up about it.
