I just read that he had been suspended for this a while ago and they fired him after he came back to work.
Nah it was two separate incidents. One was a few years ago and he was made to take mandatory anger management courses.
This one was recent.

I expect CBS will be blowing up Shemar Moore's phone with offers of big bucks to come back to the show.
