I ended up still looking close to the same :heh:

I can understand though. I think I'm pretty aware of time, however, like some people said they simply get too caught up in tasks that they lose track.

This shouldn't only be a check on yourself though, think about all your loved ones. A lot of quality time spent with them is gone, but it's not too late to spend time with them now.

The world been around for billions of years, most of us got less than 100 to experience it.

The only "oldheads" who are in shambles over stupid shıt like this are people who assed off their during their younger years, are stull stuck in dead-end jobs, living paycheck to paycheck, spent their life caring about how others view them, have zero saved for retirement, and due to their bleak outlooks for the future have no choice but to engage in 2nd childhood activities because looking back is a better option than looking forward.
So, the average person?

So, the average person?

Don't care what average is or whether you fall into that category or not. Dynamic people do dynamic things to separate themselves from the "average" since time immemorial.

I ain't better than no one else but I ain't trying to live this one chance at life just to cash out at "average." This ain't nothing close to a flex but there's too much opportunity in this world for settling and if a person never challenged their own selves to do better that's on them. I also do my best to keep company with Brothers who are doing life better than average. The company you keep matters in regards to moving up in stratospheres.

The fact that the "average" life has such a bleak outlook is why one needs to break away from "average." And if that's beyond a person's capabilities, such is life. Not every lion cashes out with a pride. If it's within scope of an individual's capabilities and they're still average, that's a regret for them, not me.

A mature person who kept his or her head down, kept his or her hustle game up, sacrificed properly so that their money game grew as they did, couldn't care less how others were living their lives, and now has a healthy investment portfolio / retirement options couldn't care less about either social media BS or "apps" that don't help a person financially secure their future.

Have your wrongly applied "boomer" jokes all you want. I'll enjoy a comfortable retirement that I built off the sweat of my brow.

Those of you over 35 still living like paragraph one, do yourself a favor and grow up. It may seem daunting but no one's gonna do it for you. This ain't being condescending, this is being real. :unimpressed:
Jeez I hope no one pisses you off out in public today.

Lol (no sarcasm)

Y'all know I like to bug out as much as the rest of y'all, but I'll admit to being a little more heavy handed when I see things designed to disrupt, divide, and add an overall net of zero to society especially as it relates to adults as we age. We're all in this together. Young and old.

This whole younger Gen vs older Gen culture war that certain entities keep stoking the fire for baffle me like no other. Not all older people are selfish, not all younger people are selfless, and these debates have been going on since day 1. However now it seems like social media is adding this extra layer of generalizing cruelty to all of these culture war battles that's making them more toxic than I've ever seen.

So while I know that this thread is on the lighthearted side, I also know young people can be impressionable, so if I can counter with a message to tell at least one person here to stop worrying about what social media tells you to and keep your head down and handle your business, then I'm happy despite going against the grain.

Afterall, all those social media jacka$$es and fake online friends won't be there for you when you're ready to retire but can't, or you have to take up a job at Walmart in your 70s just to afford your mediaction to keep you running.

Mind your business, keep your hustle strong, and seperate from the rest. That's how winners conduct themselves, regardless of generation.

People really need to embrace aging again. For real, I'm getting to a point in my life where a 20 year old is "cute".

A 35 year old who's kept herself up is coming off as far more attractive to me nowadays. I hate how youth-focused western culture is. As if sex, excitement, education, love and adventure stop at 30...or at parenthood. That shyt is just not true.

I saw some of these and it made me laugh. We get old and of course we have regrets, or times in life that weren’t so great. At some point you have to accept your mistakes and put them behind you instead of dwelling on “what ifs”.
A wise poet once said you gotta learn to live with regrets :scusthov:
