Yeah I have noticed that her skin has improved. I had minor hyper pigmentation and using saint Ives tea tree scrub made it go away.

Yeah she's one of the few gurus who's actually doing something that is improving her skin instead of just covering it with make up.

Makeupdoll is another that suffers from hyperpigmentation but it doesn't look like hers is improving all that much.

You mean Beauty by JJ? She seems nice, but I don't care for her tutorials because it always looks like she is going clubbing. I wouldn't say monster.I think she has hyper pigmentation.

Yep that is her. I don't think she is attractive without make up. If I was a man and only saw her with the after and was surprised with the before I would be pissssssed.

Let these chicks tell it, they are just "enhancing" what God gave them. :scusthov:

Imagine if numerous nikkas were walking around here with fake hairlines, fake beards, etc. We'd never hear the end of it.
My memory may be fukking with me, but doesn't Lebron James spray black paint over his hair line?

A few years ago I was looking for a skin care regime and watched some youtube videos. There were people doing skin care advice on how their skin improved but they had on a full caked on face of makeup. I was like :heh: How can I learn from this. I don't even know if your skin changed. Yeah makeup doll is sweet, but she keeps applying the makeup so I don't think that anything changed for her. I love the way she does make up, but I couldn't do it everyday and the lashes can be too dramatic at times , Brit pop princess skin improved a lot of the years too.

Now that I think about it I wonder if it is because they put soooooo much on their face :ohhh:

I remember learning about makeup through youtube and some youtubers would use all of this ish. I felt bad because I was in high school, didn't ahve a job and my parents weren't going to but $200 worth of makeup. I thought I needed the primer, contour, fix spray, this, and that and all of that other stuff. It looked horrible. I later learned that certain looks are better for certain environments. Like TV makeup is not good for just everyday walking down the street. Everyday walking down the street may not be good for TV. I noticed that the you tubers who don't do a lot tend to have nice skin. Now I just use concealer (foundation sometimes) for going out makeup. I thought that I HAD to do all of that stuff.

LAWD! This right here! Coming from a person with hyperpigmentation just let us cover up our imperfections without criticism.

Not to sound oblivious here, but why does it matter? I'm not criticizing, just wondering. don't you want to feel more comfortable at work, home, with friends or etc? The reason I emphasized comfort, because you called hyperpigmentation an imperfection suggesting comfort problems, with your skin. Everybody has imperfections, just let the chips fall :yeshrug:. No disrespect of course!

I know you weren't being disrespectful and I really appreciate that.

I think that my hyperpigmentation is an imperfection. Other people may not see it that way.

Lots of my family members have hyperpigmentation on their faces. So it's a heredity thing.

I have worked on getting rid of the hyperpigmentation most of my adult life.

In a way I have grown to just embrace it... but it will always be a part of me that would like to see it gone for good.

Oh okay mama, I got it. Well I wish you luck with it. You look pretty in your avi photo, so it shouldn't be a problem.
