I'm interested in the Wii-U. but as a PC Gamer, what's really a compelling reason(s) for me to go out and drop $800+ on a PS4 and X1?

Nothing. This gen from ps4 and xbox 1 has been a complete let down so far.

ps4 will probably drop the price in the fall and xbox 1 has been dropping the price and creating new and better deals every few months. No point in buying one right now if you haven't already/

nah, nah, that's not what i meant. the order received a lot of harsh criticism because its only 5 hours long. so this black sony stan got on youtube and said the hatred the order is receiving is comparable to the racism blacks receive

Love my PS4 and will not own an Xbox this gen but The Order debacle could have been seen a mile away.
Called it a tech demo almost a month or so back.
Probably some guys who genuinely enjoyed the five hours but no way was it going to live up to the hype.

exclusives. I'm assuming you didn't have a ps3, so you got tlou:r, then also bloodborne next month (if you like that series). The xbox has some exclusives people seem to like: Sunset Overdrive, FH2, etc. Exclusives will only add up over time. They might not interest you now though. It's all if the games are something you want. I don't like to miss out, so I have all 3 systems.
