You had experts/analysts saying it would be a 6 or 7 game series. Nobody was picking NY to win it but folks thought it would be interesting series. AI leading the Sixers to a win over the Lakers was legendary.

As was Melo leading the shorthanded Knicks over the Heat.

Who are these experts that said 6 or 7? You gotta stop getting your NBA news from the cooking network.

Given the amount of money they put into the team and the reputations of the players they signed you would expect them to finish as a 4th or at least 5th seed in the east. So no it wasn't a successful season and the way things played out raised lots of questions about the future of this team.

and 8 of them said 6 or 7, whats your point? My og post said you had experts calling a 6 or 7 game series and there's your proof right there. The fact that nobody predicted a sweep shows NY shocked no one by winning a game.

No, what's your point?

How many of those same people said 6 or 7 after game 3? Melo and co. were completely outmatched and missing 3 starters. Melo had to drop 40 to avoid the sweep and he did. Props. What else can you ask for? Really.
