fukk this terrible thread. OP is the same fakkit that calls Take Care a classic, and then turns around and makes this dumbass thread.

I'm one starring this bytch and keeping it moving.

:dwillhuh: youre such a bytch when it comes to music opinions. ole i think its a classc, but if someone else doesnt think so then i guess well settle in the middle ass hoe.
if u dont know or think Liquid Swords is a classic because some people might not like it, then you a hoe.

What makes liquid Swords Classic and not Volume 3?
OP's mad that pretty much every classic hip hop album was birthed in the 80s/90s, and for some reason he feels a certain way about that, so he gives us this brain dead opinion that subjective art or creations cant be objectively analyzed. So you hear that...no classic movies, no classic shows, no classic paintings, no classic cars, no classic fashion, etc, etc, etc.

neg rep, btw. Awful thread.

You're right there is no general consensus on any of that stuff being classic.

Whatever album you are claiming classic there are just as many people that don't think so

90's > now

ill tell u why ur wrong

cuz i can name only NYC rappers let alone anyone from the west, south, and midwest....and theyll all be better than ANY...yes ANYONE out right god damn now that wasnt out back then

The Ultimate 90's Hip-Hop List!!!! - Rate Your Music

:what:
In that case every single "reward" (MVP, Grammy etc.) given to a human performance holds no weight, because they all come down to subjectivity. The difference being that we don't "vote" on what is a classic album or not, but if we did some albums would def separate themselves from the rest. there are some albums that you just cannot NOT like if you listen to hip-hop (Doggystyle, The Chronic, Reasonable Doubt, OBC4L for example...) IMO

But, with sports you have some time of definite measurements to base your opinion on. (Homeruns, TDs, Points, etc)

In Music you do not. It all comes down to personal preferences
This fakkit is grasping at all straws to discredit the previous eras because the era he's cherishing isn't contributing to shyt

What is your era contributing that this one isn't?

There's no such thing as a "universally accepted classic". Pretty much every thing you think is classic is a "personal classic". It's all opinion, that's why I laugh when nikkaz basically try to argue for pages what is and what aint a classic.

Ever heard of a 'consensus'?

I get what the thread starter is saying.....it all depends on who you talk to.....

One mans classic is another man's average album....

Bruh, I'm from the south and have lived in the south my whole life.

No one down here could give a fukk about that album.
