I only date black women, some of their hair textures are more easily manageable than others, most just want a style that makes then look good and manageable.

My Ex can naturally pull off a reall afro puff with low maintence, but that video was low

This feels like something Monique would say in the early 2000's if the tariffs thing was going on then.

It was risky, and had moments that made me laugh, but I'm not sure if SNL is the audience for those jokes.
That’s the point.

That’s not a joke for a white audience, and Michael and Ego knew that.

this is proof there aren't enough black women working at SNL. It had some great one-liners, but is ultimately reflective of some really harmful rhetoric and lacks any real fortitude to dispel any of it. I'm always down to support Ego but this is rough...

This was really weird 🫤 If SHE bald SHE can say that. But some of us know how to take care of our hair and don’t wear wigs.

Yeah, it was a no for me. I cringed. It was like all Black women who wear their natural hair are ugly, manly, and bald. Digging in on Black women when we already struggle with racism, sexism, and many of our own men turning their backs on us is too much. We are in crisis mode which is no laughing matter. I understand it is difficult getting comedic air time as a Black woman but still a no.
