NO CONCEALING THE GUN IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT GAME. THAT'S WHY IF YOU DO CONCEAL YOU ARE REQUIRED TO TELL A COP THAT YOU HAVE IT ON YOU. CONCEALED WEAPONS ARE MORE OF A THREAT BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW IT'S THERE. THAT LAW MAKES PERFECT SENSE AND ISN'T AN ISSUE.
i would actually think its the same threat cause you have a gun on you either way. its not more deadly or dangerous cause you have it in your pocket it is still the same gun with the same bullets. its a bullshyt semantics law.

I was watchin an episode of 1st 48 and these dudes were in front of a liquor store, a car rolls up and shoots and kills 4 people, 2 of the dudes that died had glock 40s on them. They never had a chance to return fire

IT'S MOSTLY FOR POLICE. HAVING A CONCEALED PISTOL GIVES YOU A ONE UP ON A GUY WHO DOESN'T EXPECT YOU TO HAVE ONE. THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE THAT RULE THAT YOU HAVE TO TELL A COP THAT YOU ARE CARRYING WHEN YOU HAVE A CCW. LEGALLY CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPONS COMES WITH A LOT OF RULES AND MOST ARE TO LEVEL THE PLAYING GROUND WHEN IT COMES TO DEALING WITH THE POLICE.
IT'S THE SAME THING WITH SILENCERS. YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM SIMPLY BECAUSE IN A SHOOT OUT SITUATION THEY MAKE IT HARD FOR POLICE TO PINPOINT WHERE GUNFIRE IS COMING FROM. THERE ARE TOO MANY TACTICAL ADVANTAGES THAT POLICE DON'T WANT THE PUBLIC TO HAVE IN A POTENTIAL FIRE FIGHT WHEN IT COMES TO SUPPRESSORS AND SILENCERS.
THERE ARE SOME CRAZY WEAPONS LIKE MINIGUNS AND GATLING GUNS THAT ARE PERFECTLY LEGAL. REASON IS THEY INSANELY EXPENSIVE TO BUY AND OPERATE AND ANYBODY WHO COULD AFFORD ONE MOST LIKELY ISN'T TRYING TO COMMIT A CRIME. GUNS LIKE THAT POLICE THEMSELVES AND DON'T NEED GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION.
NOW PISTOLS AND ASSAULT RIFLES ARE A DIFFERENT STORY. THEY ARE WIDELY AVAILABLE AND CAN BE FAIRLY CHEAP TO GET. THEY HAVE A DECENT TO GODLY AMOUNT OF AMMO PER CARTRIDGE AND CAN DEAL SOME SERIOUS HURT. LAWS ALMOST HAVE TO BE IN PLACE TO CONTROL THEM IF THEY ARE TO BE ALLOWED ON THE STREET IN ANY CAPACITY. I WILL ADMIT THAT SOME LAWS CAN GO OVERBOARD OR SEEM DUMB BUT THE LAWS FOR CARRYING CONCEALED GUNS ARE PRETTY ON POINT(IN MOST AREAS).
