finally got back on

my thoughts on the ppv

monaghan-smith was an fairly entertainer opener

lomachenko has something...i was impressed by the bodywork that broke down ramirez

cruz got bodied by salido as expected...gay or not cruz didnt belong there..he wasn't at that level to get a title shot and im glad that the parade came to a halt

split dec my ass bradley won that clearly and im no fan of his..marquez should have showed more class in defeat and was kinda disappointed in how he acted

JMM is elite

Is he overrated at times, yeah. But dude is definitely elite.
Agree. He is elite, but I have never been a fan of his, mostly because for all the credit he gets I think he is a little one dimensional. He really needs to be the counter puncher. If he can't be the counter puncher and is fighting a better boxer, he really gets exposed.
Versus Bradley, Bradley either landed one or two punches and moved or forced JMM to get him and countered him. JMM was never really effective in the fight and the rounds Bradley won clearly were far more dominant than the round JMM won.

This was quite possibly the shyttiest PPV card in recent memory. If I had paid for this I would have been heated. Bob Arum is a putz that he can see what GBP has been doing with stacking their PPV cards and still roll out this absolute bullshyt.
2 matches with overmatched journeyman fighters, a dude getting a title shot just so Bob could try to take advantage of the fact he is openly gay and that boring ass Bradley/Marquez snoozer that did nothing to change the image that the majority of the world holds of Bradley.
The guy is a decent fighter who does nothing exceptionally well and is guaranteed to not entertain for twelve loooong rounds. The Bradley in the Provodnikov fight is the exception not the rule. I don't consider him a top P4P fighter, I don't consider him elite and honestly I can't think of one match up I am interested in seeing him in just because he is one of the least entertaining dudes in boxing.

Watched the fight Sunday morning.

:stopitslime: @ split decision. I had it 117-111 Bradley. I would say probably his best performance and the best I've seen him box. Fought the right fight counter punching the counter puncher and he was just quicker on his feet too. Somehow I managed to not find out who won prior to watching it Sunday morning and when they announced 115-113 for Marquez I was like :snoop: here we go again. Luckily Bradley got the win anyway and now if Pacquiao can take Rios out (which I think he'll do rather quickly) it makes Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 maybe more interesting than the 1st fight.

i paid for it and it wasn't that bad....3 of the fights ended in ko's (cruz getting bodied like he did made it worthwhile) and marquez-bradley is not different then watching floyd-guerrero to me

I'm sorry but that card was downright shameful. 3 of the four fights were clear mismatches.
And the difference between Bradley and Floyd is that Floyd does this type of style much better because he is smoother and more skilled plus there is the possibility that Floyd may KO his opponent. Bradley never looks smooth fighting this style so its unappealing with no hopes of a KO because Bradley is damn near incapable of knocking anyone out based on his KO percentage.

Who would ever pay to see Bradley on PPV? Yeah dude can box and outscore almost anyone. But dude is boring as fukk. He does just enough to win rounds, which is fine, but I sure don't want to pay to see that. He could've won this fight more convincingly, but dude didn't even attempt to be aggressive at any point of the fight. That's how nikkas get robbed in these boxing streets.
