People do realize that Cena has a movie to film a right after SummerSlam right? They are trying to get him through this feud while doing the bare minimum and keeping him in good condition, so it doesn't interfere with his other career. I tried telling cats what the game was and how Cena likely has an insurance policy in play, but some of y'all seem to think that he was going to be able to full speed in a match against Reigns :russ:

Be prepared for the same thing with The Rock if he comes back to feud with reigns. Why else do you think that they have discussed including The Usos in the feud and match......

What's this have to do with them doing a proper build?

Promos...interviews...storyline development?

WWE has three shows to build up some emotional value but right now the match is just "Big star vs Big star" which yes, in theory, will work no matter what, but that's what sets something like Austin/Rock WM17 above many because they didn't just coast on the name value of the match, they added some emotion to the story.

Why invest the time knowing the outcome and that he’s as soon as the match is over? How people actually thought that Cana was going to be able to go all in with us match is laughable. Especially considering Argylle starts filming in Europe this August and attention was obviously going to be focused on that.

There was no way he was going to be able to be “all-in” with this return hence Balor being added to the mix. That’s the downfall of bringing in “main attractions” who aren’t there for the long haul and will dip right after.

I mean….. he’s not necessarily lying :patrice:

As if Roman Reigns had a rub to give. This dude is probably seething inside that Jason Momoa is already holding the "Pacific Islander action-movie star" spot that Hollywood only has one of at any given time.

He's going to be stuck having four-star matches with charisma-less midgets on low-rated WWE programming for the next decade, at least.

I was more referring to the truth of Cena coming to plug his movies and doing WWE a favor as Reigns doesn’t benefit any from this match. Even the mainstream press isn’t covering Cena’s WWE return. That’s why I find his return rather useless tbh as those people in Hollywood could care less about his WWE and only worried about talking about his movie career.

Even Emily Blunt didn’t give a fukk about Rock’s Brett Hart wrestling backstory and just wanted him to promote the movie.

They gotta pull an audible and pull out the interview faceoff :wow:

They pretty much sold out SS. Why would you expect them to build the match anyway? You know how lazy this company is when it comes to decent storylines. :heh:
That's cool but it's another feud that won't matter in history..its not all time great. A waste of time..like most Cena feuds.

They're really banking on the match selling itself.

Finn will probably be inserted into the match to eat the pin.
Cena will probably be chillin on the outside most of the match anyway getting taking out and Finn & Roman will work most of the match
Finn will be close to winning and Cena will stop him
They will have alil back & forth
Cena hit Finn with an AA
Roman in the cut hits Cena with the spear/superman punch or choke out and wins
