"Judging' doesn't mean not to rebuke and call out evil. It means that we don't have the right to render a verdict on someone such as saying we need to stone or kill them. John the Baptist got killed for rebuking the actions of Herod and Jesus got killed rebuking and calling out the actions of the Pharisees and Sadduccees.

The problem with a lot of modern Christianity is that whole 'don't judge' verse is taken out of context and it creates incredibly passive, lukewarm Christians that allow evil to flourish.

Just playing angel‘s advocate here … if Diddy has had dark things going on but wanted to repent or grow then maybe TD Jakes was around as council to him. The everyday sinner goes to the neighborhood church to repent so It’s conceivable that someone rich and famous would reach out to a pastor with more “stature” to have deeper spiritual conversations. I would assume there would be less “risk” of a more famous pastor spreading you business around to others.

We give room for anybody to repent.....

In repentance it means to turn away from the evil that so easily besets us.

If Diddy was on the road to repentance he would have let go of all of the demonic music and ties to the industry.
We know that didn't happen until he thought it was no longer profitable. That's a clear sign of somebody that cares more about the money than true repentance.

So we can take a realistic look at the situation and see that TD Jakes was around a guy that wasn't really on that road.

It wouldn't take but 1 conversation for TD Jakes to figure out where Diddy's head was at. Nobody would have had to know he had that conversation.
