Q's musical legacy in unmatched in the history of American music. I posted the link to a thread where I had a side discussion about how much of a giant Quincy Jones is and how he made classic in near EVERY form of music created here.
BUT......and there's always a but....he's buggin in these recent interviews. Dude clearly worshippped white women and he came up around musicians and entertainers who saw taking the white man's woman as some kind of victory. When the culture shifted and viewed this as a sellout move in some circles...he and others want to cop pleas...GTFOH!!!

and throwing dead people under the bus. There was no reason to throw Marvin Gaye under the double decker bus like that. I sat on this picture, out of respect for Q, but F it. This isn't really a gotcha because this was an image that he had published in a tribute to Sinatra when he died, but here it goes

kiss_ring.jpg

yes, top picture is Q kissing Frank Sinatra's ring
from old Vibe magazine article about FS

he kissing that cac's ring:scust:

No I'm tellin' you nikka :pachaha: Listen to the Donna Summer song he is referring to, shyt sounds nothing alike.

It seems like he never truly got over MJ throwing him in the bushes for Teddy Riley and saying no to The Secret Garden (that part eventually went to Al B.Sure). If Michael stole so much you don't think word would have gotten out by now at the HEIGHT of his supernova popularity?

Again, if Michael stole so much and was so greedy what does it say about him working on those same songs? He never said any of this stuff when he was alive. It was "genius" this and "genius" that :francis:

Wrong.

Plenty of people have talked about Mike stealing credit for stuff on "Off The Wall" & "Thriller" for many years.

If there was an internet in the '80s, then you would've seen more of it., but back then, people just got away with shyt like that.

It started to change after that Lauryn Hill shyt.

First off, with DSTYGE it was a short instrumental in the middle which dude was PAID for. You gonna give someone songwriter credit for an instrumental arrangement? I will concede that it was kinda wack to change his mind.

It is DOCUMENTED that Michael came up with the demo for Billie Jean way before that Donna Summer song (of which Quincy produced and Michael sang backup... and they still don't sound alike). In fact, almost the entire melody was done before MJ brought the shyt to Quincy.

Again, if he supposedly stole so much and was so greedy, what does that say about him working on those songs and taking credit?

The internet thing is an excuse, hell yeah nikkas would be itching to blast him, particularly by the late 80s.

Please post the plenty of ppl you're referring to.

Quincy ain't even see it. Quincy said, Mike said Prince tried to run him, Latoya and his momma over with the limo... Basically He Said She Said:comeon:

this happened mid 83'... months prior, both Mike N Prince would drop their most successful projects at that point in their careers. Mike dropped Thriller, Prince dropped 1999..u telling me, Prince was gonna get locked up, because he lost a dance off???:usure:

2. Mike ain't embarrassed Prince. Prince embarrassed himself.
Prince could of simply hit one of them multi combo splits, played the guitar and sung a James Brown hook . would of had Mike like :ehh:"not bad"... and James like:ahh: "I taught these two young nikkas well".
instead Prince went up there and acted like a Retard:dahell:, what the fukk was he even trying to do? :mjlol:end up Embarrassing himself in front of his idol, and his rival.
then again, :jbhmm:maybe he did tried to kill Mike. on some salty, yelling "man fukk that nikka":damn: to the limo driver .

Prince was high AF breh

What’s something you wish you didn’t know?
Who killed Kennedy.

Who did it?
[Chicago mobster Sam] GiancanaChicago gangster Sam Giancana is a well-known name among Kennedy conspiracists, both for his alleged help in delivering Illinois votes for Kennedy in the 1960 presidential election and the 1963 assassination of the president. The latter theory largely stems from Giancana’s murder in 1975, not long before he was supposed to testify before a Senate committee investigating collusion between the mob and the CIA.. The connection was there between Sinatra and the Mafia and Kennedy. Joe Kennedy — he was a bad man — he came to Frank to have him talk to Giancana about getting votes.

I’ve heard this theory before, that the mob helped win Illinois for Kennedy in 1960.
We shouldn’t talk about this publicly. Where you from
