Pro wrestling past is more relevant than today:manny:
One of the Olympic commercials USA ran was a cross-promotion, they asked an Olympian wrestler what was his favorite WWE move and he said the stunner & rock bottom :pachaha:

Dude's like Cornette always said Vince hot-shot the business during the Monday Night Wars and did more long-term damage than good. I used to think it was just sour grapes but that era is really an elephant in the room they can't escape 20+ years later.

Yup that's why I will always say the Monday night wars era was the second life of the wrestling business but it killed it and it hasn't recovered since

WWE has went the way of Howard Stern and Jerry Springer/Maury a thing people only reminisce about

There isn’t a wrestler aside from Cena or Brock that any non-fans know of or give a shyt about, if they tryna get non-fans then that’s their best bet :yeshrug:
Y’all say that but my Uncles could give a damn about the Rock or Stone cold when I was a kid. Kids loving wwe just like when we were kids. We older and bitter so we don’t appreciate this stupid form of entertainment. We analyze shyt way too much

not knowing they exist due to wrestling as a whole being irrelevant and not caring about them because they dont possess star power are two different things, naomi going viral directly contradicts this disingenuous point but believe what you want

Just because something goes viral, doesn't mean that the masses even know or care about it.

People really gotta stop falling into the hyping of believe that something popular on social media means that it's popular to the masses in general. It's not a true statement at all.

What part of what I said indicates anything about anybody currently being popular to the masses? I used Naomi going viral when people discovered her existence as an example of the potential popularity certain people could gain if WWE marketed them correctly. Somehow that results in “nobody knows or cares about them!!! They aren’t popular outside of wrestling!!!” responses when I literally never said otherwise.

Point is, if WWE paid the shade room to promote Bianca, Sasha, or Naomi, they would tap into a completely new market of fans because while they are currently unknown outside of wrestling.. they posses the talent and stand out enough to attract non-fans under the right circumstances.
