Or 5)
He doesn't want to be a spot up shooter like he would be in Miami. Lebron and DWade won't give up that ball and that's all Nash would be doing.
The best team for his talents and to win a ring would have been Indiana. If they had a point guard, they probably push the Heat to 7 or even win that series.
Naw, Nash wouldn't be a spot up shooter on the Heat, he would head the offense, but that doesn't mean the offense wouldn't still run through Lebron. Lebron and Wade would have no problem whatsoever letting Nash 'run the show'; an
elite-playmaker running an actual half-court offense would swing the unnecessary iso-ball-situations from unnatural created-space into natural created-space. It'd take some of the play-making-weight off the shoulders of both Bron and Wade and allow them to focus their energy on other parts of their game.
Nash averaged 9.0 FGA (31 minutes) playing with:
Shannon Brown
Jared Dudley
Channing Frye
Martin Gortat
Compared to Chalmers 7.8 FGA (28 minutes) - if Nash can take low-attempts with low-level talent, he'll have no problem(s) taking low-attempts with high-level talent.
The best team for him to win a ring (2011-2012):
