The trailer was fine, i personally tend to favor more animated versions of superheroes than the actual movies, loved those x men animation series, justice league etc that was around in the earlier days as well

To this day I still view any person who profess to love Snyder’s Superman as simple minded. And the worse is they have the nerve to act Snyder’s version is really that deep when the writing is so atrocious and on the nose and completely miss the point of a character like Superman.

Man I could shyt on this movie for days, it get me that heated.

Snyder's Man of Steel was a solid movie but not a solid superman movie. Supes is NOT supposed to be dark, gritty and brooding. They missed the entire essence of the character and that is why it divided so many fans. His whole steez is supposed to be inspiring, uplifting and hopeful.

Why isn't superman supposed to be dark and brooding?
Because Christopher Reeves made 1 good movie being happy 40 years ago? and three trash ones like the one featuring Richard Pyror that people try to forget exist?
The superman comics are dark and brooding more often than fun and happy.

Nah. Studios continue to make the same mistake. They think it's about the superhero which is partially correct. They actually need a good villain to make the film complete. That's why the best Avengers movies had Thanos, the best Batman had joker (Heath Ledger), and Superman's Man of Steel with Michael Shannon as Geneal Zod. This trailer looks like Spiderman where they keep recycling the same villains.
