It's one of the best albums of this decade. I'll be real with you by letting you know it falls in the neo soul genre. It's an album you have to listen to in its eentirety because master p's narration adds to the concept.

Yeah, it was bothering me the moment I heard the Solange song, I knew it but couldn't place it.
I actually knew it from this record tbh...but trying figure which song Gill Scott Heron was talking on was impossible.

Then I'm at a Tech conference last Wednesday and there playing it in the break. So like the cratedigger I am, I'm there front of these geeks, Shazam open and my phone near the speaker. Hahaha

I've made this same statement for years Most people, especially hip hop fans, think being more popular equates to the product being better. Beyonce can make an album like this if she wants to, but she's too concerned with chart position and crossing over.
