Another "stretch" or honorable mention, yeahAnthony Mason

The Bulls rant their offense through Luc Longley in the triangle. I wouldnt call him point forward.
Chris Webber would be another honorable mention
So we are calling anyone an offense is ran through at the top of the key a point forward, now? So whats next? Luke Longley was a point forward? Bill CartWright?Whats so horribly wrong about his statement? The Wolves def ran alot of offense from KG at the top of the key
He had a 5 season stretch where he was dropping between 5 & 6 dimes a game
I mean dude wasnt bringing the ball up the court every possession, but he definitely had the offense moving through him
I was one of those KG stans when he was with the T-Wolves breh. Webber brought the ball up the court 4 or 5 times more than KG and I'm not putting Webber in the point Forward category without putting an asterisk. Just an honorable mention, really. What;s next? Charles Barkley? He actually played point forward for the timbermolves numerous times. He would actually bring the ball up the court. Get mad and make threads with limited basketball knowledge brehs.
no stretch or honorable, he ran Charlotte's offense. He wasnt the athlete that GHill, Pippen, or Bron were/are but he was a point forward.Another "stretch" or honorable mention, yeah

Hell how about Alonzo Mourning?
Garnett, often playing point guard in Cassell's absence, turned in a monster performance, recording 30 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists while playing all but 2 minutes 24 seconds. He guarded every position at some point in the game.
THis mofo bringing up Chriss Broussard as if that means somethingDude, are you slow? Garnett was CLEARLY a point forward for several stretches of his career. He came into the league as a small forward, and he even played PG for stretches of his career. Are you honestly comparing him initiating the offense with guys like Longley and 'Zo? I'm kinda bankning on you never seen a game of Garnett in Minny. He did a whole lot of ball handling on that team.
Just a quick google search: PRO BASKETBALL; Timberwolves Get Garnett's Point to Survive - New York Times
written by Chris Broussard in 2004.
Just look at games in the Sacramento and Lakers series in 2004. Theres your video evidence.
you nikkas....
a day cant go by when a arguement doesnt erupt about something as inconsequential as whether or not kg brought the ball up the court...
for the record the only time i ever remember him doing it was during the 2004 playoff run....a couple of games bringing the ball up court out of necessity does not a point-forward make....
@ nikkas claiming they watched every single game kg played as a t-wolf

I need to make another thread about THAT.
edit: I would make another thread but too many threads clowning Chris Broussard already on theColi

So you made this thread so everybody could agree on a definition of Point Forward? Good idea.
I think it's fair to call somebody a point forward if they run the offense in a half-court set.
