I was on an aircraft carrier typically the chicks..especially the good looking ones...
( In military average chicks will get treated like a dime )

They tend to get the office jobs...answer phone calls,handle paperwork, organize, basically secretary ..thus they're around the upper chain of command the most and that is a better chance at getting an Early Promote evaluation..which in most ratings(jobs) in the Navy is what you need to have a chance at advancing.

In my experience too dudes will simp over these broads even if they ain't getting no play

Alot of them chiefs and shyt are and like to parade around their "pet projects" ..their "honor roll" students so to speak. So they plot hard if they can mold a good looking female sailor and mentor her.

Excluding not wanting to fukk, my Chief has this relationship with my LPO. I don't even blame him because she's ridiculously great at her job.

She's not fukk-able at all though. Kinda ugly in the face with no ass and small titties, but really smart and social.
