The Ferraris that lose value are the "mass produced" entry level V62Ts and V8s (like the Roma and Portofino)
Plus that collection is enough to put him in the top 200 on a wait list for any new limited models that arrive.
Ferrari values are more stable than art because the art buyer market is so up and down and follows trends. Ferraris have been the money car for almost 50 years and even if you have the money if you arent already a preferred buyer with a several top end models you usually can't get one from Ferrari directly.
The Monza SP2 (the low one with no windshield) starts at $1.8M from Ferrari, the resale market that same car averages $2.6M
The right Ferraris are a good investment.
