Lebron got more stripes on his resume during his first run in Cleveland than Carmelo has had his entire career. He has done nothing to even suggest that he would've been a better fit on the Miami championship teams than Bronze because he wasn't just a scorer, he was nucleus of the squad. Put Melo in place of Bosh on that team with Wade and Bronze and they might have 1 ring instead of 2

In the ECF, Lj played 6 games and got swept in the Finals. So, he played 4 more games than 'Melo did when 'Melo went to the WCF, but Lj lost all of them. That's not having more success than 'Melo during that run. Besides that, he never spent a day of his career in the West. How many .500 teams did Lj play when he went to the Finals and got swept? When he got to the ECF, who scored 19 of the Cavs' 31 points to eliminate the Pistons? How many times has Lj missed the playoffs?He wasn't no nucleus. He was a baby who needed the ball in his hands all the time, so he wouldn't keep playing like he did in '11 when he got punked by players half his size when they guarded him in the Finals (Barea, Kidd, and Jason Terry).
Bosh, who missed the playoffs 4 times is better than 'Melo who has carried weak teams to the playoffs every year of his career until last season and this one, only because Dolan wanted to tank for both seasons, and having done this in a tough West for much of his career?

Where does 'Melo rank among forwards in assists? He has more offensive rebounds than Lj and KD combined. The only reason why Lj has more assists is because he controls the ball all the time. Let someone control the ball as much as he does, they will match his assist totals. Raymond Felton only averages 0.5 less assists for his career than Lj and he spent most of his career in Charlotte. Lj has always been 1 of the most putrid defenders in the league. 'Melo is an over 90 percentile post defender. When Lj's not on his super-team with Wade and Bosh, he can't even shoot 50% and he's a dunker and layup guy. That's pathetic. He should be able shoot way above that without help. He can't even shoot 50% with Love and Kyrie.
at the notion that 24.2ppg on nearly 45% shooting, 6.6rpg, and 3.1apg (not even controlling the ball) on 1 knee is “dodging a bullet”. You must be one of the salty fans that secretly wanted him on your team.
