Who said anything about blowing it up?

If you think Isaiah is going to be fine with coming off the bench for a much younger player you're buggin.

He didn't like coming off the bench for Smart and that was before the all-star games, any type of playoff success, commercials, etc.

But at this point, I think you just have to cross that bridge when you get there. And there's still a chance that those two can co-exist in the backcourt together so it won't come to that.

with all the holes in this team, its hilarious how people are so focused on replacing the guy who is far & beyond their best player. the guy that's the difference between them being a 1-seed in the conference finals, as opposed to being in the lottery.

btw, Isaiah Thomas was better at Washington than Fultz was.

trade that pick for a big.
they should've did that last year when they had the chance to get nerlens noel.....and I'm saying this as the biggest Jaylen brown supporter on this site in 2016. I said he should go 3rd, but I didn't expect the Celtics to keep that pick.

Kyrie Irving is better than everyone on the celtics not named Isaiah Thomas. Kevin Love too.

Kyrie would flounder if he wasn't standing next to Bron....How many games have the Cavs won with him leading the Cavs? Was Love a superstar when he was putting up Moses numbers not making the playoffs?

Outside of him those teams weren't very good either. Plus he was younger.

Of course he was, which Is why Cleveland traded Andrew Wiggins for him and made coming back to Cleveland more appealing to Bron

Nah, he's still going to get paid bc he's a good scorer, and in the modern NBA that's really all you need your point guard to be. They just need a good defender at either the wing or center position.

:philjacksonlol::philjacksonlol:Phil likes bigger guards. If they're European, even better.

:philjacksonlol: Ntilikina is the future :wow:
It's one of those things that's been known since he was in CHI. He likes Gs That are 6'5 and up.

He's had to live with the likes of BJ Armstrong and Derek Fisher just out of luck. But remember he liked to play Jordan and Harper down the stretch

A superstar gets a bad team into the playoffs...happens every year. How many games have the Kyrie lead Cavs won since Bron's been back in town? You have to get your team into the playoffs before you even get superstar consideration. If Kevin was a superstar the Wolves would have found a way to keep him in town

I'd trade him this offseason and just go full rebuild. Y'all already on a great path with Fultz, Brown and next year's pick. Y'all can probably finesse a team by dangling IT. Y'all right now are the Hawks a couple years ago, a fake #1 seed.

you don't think Boston will take Lonzo? :troll:

The Celts are gonna be in a tough position. Let him go and the fan base will be highly upset. But the smart move is to draft Fultz resign Avery Bradley (and maybe Marcus Smart to) to have 3 big guards that can play both spots. Along with Brown developing and Crowder if they luck up and get Hayward they could use one or both of them as trade chips for someone else. If they don't get Gordon I think they should save the money and go after Demarcus. A potential lineup of Fultz Bradley Demarcus Horford (who FINALLY would get to play his natural position) and Brown/Crowder could run the East once Bron gets old. Not to mention that the 2018 draft could bring them Porter or Ayton if the Nets are bad enough.
