All of this is very true.

I appreciate the feeling that even if we were strangers, a black man would have my back if I were ever put in a uncomfortable situation (e.g being harassed at a bar). This doesn't mean physically fighting for me or anything, but it would be as simple as taking the time to ask me if I am okay (because he would genuinely want to know...not because he was trying to holler). The whole brotha/sista thing.

yea, i never experienced what other bw women say they do by black men in public...they feel if a black man is being nice to them he must wants something, no sweetheart..he was raised to respect all women and treat them with kindness

you're a very misunderstood group. i admit i misunderstand you because i neglect to put in the time to study you like i've studied myself. i do not think i would feel complete if i did not learn you. i have not felt that for any other group of men.
