The ones to play are 1, 3, and 4 if you want to the better games of the series, but if you want just the combat and smooth fighting, 3 and 4 are the ones to play.

For some reason 2 didn't click with me like the others did. The combat in 3 is what really hooked me into it. Once I got the Agni and Rudra swords and the cereberus gauntlets, I was during combat.

Ended up being one of the greatest action games ever made
