Who do you think he's appealing to, brehs? :mjlol:

Young aged, low income teenagers/young adults who see the 0 Down and think they're getting a good deal.

The whip and nae nae was to draw attention with a referential trend and the dancing was done to make him seem lamer but also more vulnerable / approachable while being easy-going.

This is more marketing towards low income or financially unprepared youth than racism, Breh.

It was racist and perpetuating negative stereo types in the black community.

Breh, I'm big on racism in marketing and the subtle indoctrination of racism aimed at black people in western media.

Marketing was one of my majors and that commercial isn't racist. It was aimed at the kinda young adults that frequent vine and Instagram with little to no long term financial vision.

Will it affect more black people? Probably because more black people are victims of low income and lack of adequate financial planning skills so they're more likely to get hit with this but this is not a racist commercial nor is promoting black oeople in a negative light.

i usually hate when white/other races try to use black/hip hop slang ironically to seem as if they were above it (that would be a racist vibe). this commercial however, for some reason i don't get a racist vibe from. now don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it's impossible he's a racist in his personal life. what i'm saying is that this commercial is more about the old man doing a kid's dance to seem absurd and then going back to a cool demeanor. he happen to use a trendy dance song that was popularized by a black kid but if the Macarena would have been a hit today, he would have done the Macarena dance and tried to find a play on words with that and then go back in his regular old man demeanor. i don't think his angle was to shyt on black people.
