ATL, but rasied in DMV
I hear some of you saying he still looks older in the face, which might make him look like a monster later on if he keeps up with the bodybuilding. I guess it all depends. This makes me think about the thread saying women prefer face over body. When it comes to body builders, this kinda makes since. I mean you don't wanna walk around built like Black Mr. America, then have a face like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. I guess when you get up there in age, you probably look better just staying fit, then to keep looking like a big body builder, with you face falling off as you get older. I wish their was a way to keep our faces looking just as young as our bodies, when we get blessed to keep a body like Shannon Sharpe

The main reason I said this makes since is because I thought how it looks the other way around. For example, have you ever seen a woman built like a fine Instagram model, then turn around and be an old lady with her face falling off. You'd think you saw something out of a horror movie. I wish there was something to keep a woman's face looking as young as her body, when she's blessed to keep her body in shape way past her prime as well.

you’re falling into that stereotype that roids always result into a Ronnie Coleman lookin muthafukka

To get to that point it takes a specific diet and training regimen.

Barry Bonds was taking a cocktail of steroids during this career. Probably on cycles that rival top tier bodybuilders, and he looked nothing like them because he didn’t train for that.

So to say Shannon isn’t on something because he’s not huge by your standards is naive.
It's not naive at all :pachaha:

I follow natty bodybuilders.
I'm legit into it, :yeshrug:

Some people would see this dude:
3dMJ Godfather is very close to Shannon in age btw.

or this dude :

or this dude:

And they'd argue whether or not they're natty. After a certain point, especially multiple
years in. Most people can't tell the damn difference :pachaha:

I was heavily into the whole natural bodybuilding thing for a minute.
Life had other plans but I might get back on track with the lifting and hitting the gym hard
like I used to. :yeshrug:
My ideas about men's physique & what's actually possible are influenced not just by "opinion"
but genuinely digging Natty bodybuilding as a subculture.

The default reaction on TLR is to cop pleas, make excuses, blame others.
So you seeing a video of 50-ish men who are dedicated to working out, and saying that they are taking illegal substances is no surprise.
I genuinely don't take a person seriously if I get "Can't bench press his body weight" vibes on any post concerning fitness.
And I get that from A LOT of posters in The Locker Room.

You see it, Joe average thinks taking something will magically transform you and no work is needed :francis:

I don't think anyone questions the work he puts in, and if brehs think you take gear and look like Shannon they dumb as fukk. But he doesn't look like that without Test at the very very least

These guys are probably "Fake Nattys" that consider anything under 500MG Test a week "natural" :russ:

Biolayne actually has a great book for natty builders.

His focus is on how late stage body builders who are natural struggle with growing their muscle
by trying to increase weight/resistance and he suggests volume.

You should check it out, might open your mind and help you make some gains :yeshrug:
You can believe whatever you want I know what I've seen with my own two eyes.

:pachaha: I've had people ask me if I was hitting the roids :pachaha:
And I've never touched a steroid in my life :yeshrug:
:flabbynsick: I'm on bulk mode right now tho, so I don't get with those questions nearly as much. :flabbynsick:

Yeah Layne has flat out said no gear and no TRT. People may or not believe him but he’s definitely said he isn’t.

oh yeah man, I know the fitness industry is rife with frauds who
only seek to sell B.S. to their customers.
Plus I follow dudes who obviously use roids too.
shyt, one of my modern day G.O.A.T.'s is Kai Greene

But you're right, for every Matt Ogus or Chris Jones, there's a Simeon Panda.
Yeah Layne has flat out said no gear and no TRT. People may or not believe him but he’s definitely said he isn’t.
Yup, you're right.
Anyone who was really into natty bodybuilding last decade should have a good idea of a couple dudes like Alan Aragon, Biolayne, Lyle Mcdonald and some other cats that escape
my memory right now.
All of them put out some really solid information on what someone can expect to achieve, what's possible or isn't possible.
There were whole threads compiled on BB with old school bodybuilders prior to the introduction of test into the sport.
Old school strongmen, what it means to have "Great genetics", muscle insertion etc.

:snoop: the hours I've poured into researching this shyt :pachaha: :snoop:

That's TOP TOP tier genetics, hard work, discipline, diet, and consistency over a span of decades.
:ehh:

Maybe a touch of some substances too, but we don't really know. The above still applies regardless.
:yeshrug:

Fareal. Shannon says he eats one meal a day and it’s the same thing almost everyday. A mix of turkey, chicken, veggies, and lots of water (no fried food or breads).

anytime i see a man with a physique but a six-pack i know his on the juice. the six pack is the most effeminate look on a man an eye sore.

all the pro wrestlers with the goat bodies in the 70-90s never bothered with the effeminate six pack. six pack is solely for so called vanity reasons and you on the gas/juice walking round with a six pack.

:dame:
These new posters on something else.
Checking out what brehs got going on under the under, categorizing and what not.
"mmmhmmm, hes got that physique I like but no no no with that 6 pack, he's doing that for vanity reasons. Next!"

This has got to be the most retarded comment I’ve ever read.

God bless your heart
