Nah but on some real shyt, Regular Show was dope however look how many great shows we had back then. The volume of dope content was crazy and it was original.

I been talking about this for awhile entertaining in general has taking a huge nose dive imo. I didn't realize how amazing the content we were getting in the 90s I just thought that shyt was normal at the time.

I think about it all the time and I think the real culprit might be technology. Back then we had less of it so people had to get creative and didn't have so many distractions. People read a lot more, they wrote a lot more and had to be more original. Now with technology not only are many of our thoughts being influenced by others (reaction videos, opinion leaders people follow on social media, bloggers etc.) but we also are more concerned about what people think and more into instant gratification. I think all of that has an effect on creativity.

Even with kids, they are given a tablet now a days instead of what we had which was coloring books, toys and etc. so that will impact creativity too I think.

especially black entertainment...between music (including radio), movies, tv shows, stand up comedy specials, magazines, and even books...there were so many poppin forms of media/entertainment geared toward us specifically, year round
