Now of course I'm not expecting Oscar worthy shyt from kids, but the older crew performed sketches much better than the clips I've seen of the later seasons. Idk when over-acting became acceptable. It's like when IG "comedians" get on a show/film and over-act their ass off (DC YoungFly). Cringe as fukk, but that's the current climate.

This is true. Just look at the anniversary special. Josh, kenan and kel play characters, the newer cast was just a bunch of spastic movement

I don't know if there's really a point to bringing this show back. It's not like people don't know what it is. Besides, it ran much longer than it should have and fell off after the first couple seasons. I don't know if it's the acting or the sketches just not being funny to begin with, but I don't see a lot of comedic potential in this.

Maybe if they brought back some of the earlier seasons' essence by bringing in some hip hop/R&B artists, that would be alright, but honestly, that roster of musical guests is going to be tragic.

Hopefully, it can survive one season. But if you ask me, they're better off looking for new, fresh live-action hits because they haven't had one in almost ten years.
