My co-worker showed me the UK version first, the one with the Big Mama and her soul food. Man I was feeling for them man, I just wanted them to do good. That was one of the funniest things ever.
I don't remember the episode, but the one where is prayer is along the lines of, I pray I don't get food poisoning for the third time in a year" is worth it for that alone.
The English version of the show has Gordon toned down, overall, but the episode where guy served his family raw chicken cordon bleu is brutal as shyt to watch.(This might be the pilot episode)

U ain't lying. I have seen every episode of this shyt and it is what got me hooked on these cooking shows. When he first started Hell's Kitchen that shyt was GOAT. The way he would talk to the patrons when they started bytchin about their food not being ready was>>>>> they really toned that down.
The pilot episode of Kitchen Nightmares UK was great also. Dude went to a soul food restaurant and ate everything on the plate...even though when he went back he had to fix everything again but that woman was putting in work, went and copped a two story restaurant and shyt.
