The look on her face tells you this was NOT in the script and she was hurt... You see Cole in the background wince when he says it too.

I wish they woulda gave another season a shot and just straight up replaced Gina. Got rid of her character and just gave Martin a new woman while finding some story line reason to keep Pam around.
But u could see Martin heart wasn't in it by the end of season 5
