And here's the thing...

Everybody admits that styles make fights.
And a KO artist like GGG against a bigger defensive-minded skill fighter with low punch output like Andre Ward makes for a boring fight.

This shyt is obvious, breh.
Have you people NOT just watched the fukkin Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight?

That's exactly what a GGG/Ward fight would look like.

I'm not saying you don't post in the ring. I'm asking if you're a casual, because that's some shyt casuals say. Even @SkiHatDaGawd said it…

And this isn't sports-entertainment, it's sports. Real boxing fans want to see the best go head to head. I don't care if it's not action packed, I want to see what would happen. That's why I want Rigo to fight Walters/Mares/Santa Cruz/Frampton/etc. The people that call highly technical fighters boring are hurting boxing. It's the reason HBO can shut Rigo out after beating a top 5 P4P guy and everyone can be OK with it. It's sad.

And I'm very confident SOG would UD GGG comfortably. But it would look more like Ward/Froch than Pac/May. And Ward isn't a boring fighter.

but chavez hasnt looked good his past few fights bruh

in his prime i agree that wouldve been a hell of a fight, wid his chin and his power, and ability to stand in da pocket

There was no bending over financially to be done. Cotto wanted absolutely nothing to do with GGG. As soon as he got that belt he tried to cash out with a Canelo match or a Mayweather fight

Also I don't get why people bring up GGG's age and act like he wasn't an absolute nobody when he had his first fight in the US three years ago. Dude has done nothing but put in work constantly and build his resume and profile until finally now in these last few months people are clamoring to see him in big fights. 10 fights in three years against whoever they could get in front of him, from a nobody to a guy who can put 10k fans in an arena to fight a nobody and he's now a viable b-side for a PPV fight.

bruh, ppl thought ward-dawson would be a boring fight but it ended up being one of the best fights of 2012. ward puts on a good show and we all see what ggg has been doing so far so it'll be an interesting and big matchup.

Martin Murray was a bullshyt slip call away from being the lineal MW Champ and Geale is no bum either. GGG was retracing nearly all of Maravilla's steps on his way up. JCC Jr just ducked like a bytch and jumped ship. Maravilla ducked him and took Cotto. Cotto is ducking him…

And with all due respect to Ward, him calling GGG out didn't mean a damn thing until January. Now that he'll be active again, that can happen. GGG couldn't have fought Ward in the past 2 years.
