Notice how you rarely see celebrities just straight up saying "I messed up." It's always something like "I was young and didn't know any better!" instead of just saying "You know what, I was ignorant, stupid, stubborn, and I was wrong for what I've done. And I sincerely apologize for my actions."
Not that it's going to make a difference in her case though, because for her to come out a couple days later and appear to make a complete 180 in her mentality would be.. Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Nobody's going to believe she suddenly had a change of heart on some Persona 5 shyt and now she wants to atone, most people have seen this rodeo enough times now to know what's really going on.
Especially if even up to this year she was still engaging in that kind of behaviour.
