Definitely agree with last paragraph. Even Bron who gotten and gets shytted on a lot carried his teams in his prime especially those Cavs teams to the Finals. KD couldn't even get there with the nets and his azz got swept last season.

So much for saying KD better than Bron. Maybe should say KD plus Steph and GS is better than Bron.

I doubt I could name 25 players better than prime KD. His skill set is more than suitable to lead a squad without another all nba type guy.

You got Jayson Tatum’s and Jimmy Butler type guys leading their teams to finals.

You're right, you can't name 25. You could likely name 15, and maybe push it to 20. And he's had All-NBA teammates all his career and can't go far without the one who is arguably Top 10 ever. His skill set is in fact in need of another player that level, preferably a guard.

Play their cards right and they’re going to have better careers than KD.

I’m gonna get heat for this but Butler is just a straight up smarter player than KD.

KD is more skilled in damn near every aspect of basketball but Butler is better at reading defenses more than one rotation deep. The reason GS worked for him so well is that his playmaking duties were drastically simplified and he could focus almost entirely on getting buckets against single coverage.

Warriors basketball was just tailor made for KD

Still an amazing player obviously but him being a 7 foot sniper was icing on the cake for the heavy motion offense with player movement and ball movement with GS. He could play free and not have as much defensive attention on him, and it worked.

That’s great, I’ve watched KD since he was in high school playing with Grevis Vasquez.

He has great handles for an almost 7 footer.

For a guard, his handles are mid and it’s why he gets a lot of turnovers. He dribbles high and wide which a lot of shorter defenders tend to punish him for when they get in his space.

I feel like this a difference in perspective. He’s using handle in its totality meaning he’s including things like ball security, ability to dribble through tight spaces/traffic, etc and not just limited to his offensive bag.

KD’s bag is damn near unlimited in one on one situations but his bag can be muted by forcing him to put the ball on the floor in tight spaces where he struggles with ball security.
