Meh, I've heard worse. Not a fan of Bryson and his brand of R&B though. Btwn him, Chris and some others the quality of male R&B has been in this weird place. Lagging way behind the women.

This nikka fell off so hard it’s unbelievable, but I still listen to T R A P S O U L to this day. Still one of the best projects of the 2010s to me. This and Kodak’s Institution takes me back to a specific time in my life.

I think the lyrics were trying to be funny with "witty" puns.
It kind of worked sometimes but others it felt forced and corny.

Yea I think they are. I think there are multiple women in R&B that are compelling not only lyrically but overall in the kind of music they make. When you have a crop like SZA, Summer Walker, Victoria Monet, Coco Jones and others, I personally don't think the men are matching them right now.
