This will mess the brain up and cause Kids to learn differently. A new form of dyslexia will come about watch.

You have no proof of this. Either way, as an adult I welcome it. Obviously kids shouldn't learn this way. But technology is already shaping the way kids learn whether you like it or not. Attention spans are way shorter. Kids can barely type on a keyboard but their thumb muscles are really strong due to texting. The list goes on.

I liked the 250 wpm spritz, 500 wpm was too much.

This seems good, I usually spritz through most stuff (even Organic Chemistry), and re-read so I can process and analyze key info.

Take 3 reads in most cases, for most people.

For joy reading, even like weekly magazines, just the articles, with no charts or pictures its great.

For textbook reading, that may require some highlighting or little more time with material ... probably no so much.

How so? you're still reading. Just at a fast pace.

I welcome this innovation.
You're not really absorbing it though. If I'm trying to really understand something I might read it over and over several times. Plus if I'm studying something I will be highlighting and taking notes. This could be good for mobile ads though
