I kind of agree with you OP I think this is unnecessary. But also just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean you're right. You can't control the thoughts and actions of others. They may think they can and need to change the meaning and narrative of the word. That's their prerogative
That being said I don't agree personally. A lot of us usually stop using that word by our early 30s or significantly shrink out usage of it for a reason. I've never heard of a black man get older and wiser and use it MORE. That kinda tells you something
In fact on this very site I could probably check my usages of nikka and it has probably had a downward trend over the years

We have a lot bigger problems in the community than the word nikka, and if you can't comprehend that you just talking just to talk and not a serious person.
Maybe before I’m dead we’ll all agree to bush the insult we wrap around everything. Some of these podcasts man, like every third word is “nikka”. didnt grow up like dont hang around people like that. The dustiest people in my family don’t talk like that.
