You're less likely to get shot by the police, but it will be harder for you to rent an appartment or buy property and people in the streets will stare at you or even insult you, depending on where you are. If you're from the US, you will be exempt from some of the racism, but not all of it. As far as Germany goes, most of the brehs in this thread seem to have been there in the 90's and early 2000's. US (black) culture was the dominent youth culture back then, but times have changed and therefore, black americans don't hold the same status anymore as they did back then.
