Because these two situations are exactly the same every time, huh?

What percentage of police shootings of unarmed black men were justified, in your opinion?

The point is that

1. you'd think there would be some solidarity at play here given that we're discussing two aggrieved groups who have been abused to the point they often don't report crimes to authorities out of fear.

2. the dismissive language used in threads like these mirrors the types of things white people say about you.

How many Coli threads or posts have we had where we criticize white people who pull the "wait for all the facts" card the minute a black man gets murked by a cop. How many times have we gotten angry as white racists or the white media immediately attempt to blame the victim for his own death, or justify it based on his past history/behavior (drugs for instance)? So why is it that when we discuss sexual assault, many on this forum start using those exact talking points immediately to blame or question women, and defend the alleged perpetrator. Look yourselves in the mirror.

Honestly, I only read your first sentence here.

Despite the fact that I have bad personal experiences with the police...I can listen to a YT talk his chit about "immediately blaming" law enforcement in the wake of a police brutality incident...

...but said persons' argument subsides when there are video and details.

So it's not wrong to ask if anyone has considered the details of an incident where someone is charged of a crime. It's not "violent" to do that.
